Amazing YoYo

1996 World YoYo Champion Dale Myrberg in the Mill Street Gallery

EJ could tell you another good story. This guy was the 1996 world yoyo champion and it was simply amazing to see what can be done with those little things. Incidentally, his favorite yoyos are the ones from Channelcraft, which we carry in the Gallery.



After warming up, he really got going.

 


I think the one to the left was called "Baby in the cradle"

 


This just to illustrate the difference in skill level...:-)

 


"The Star of Texas"

 

Below a somewhat risky trick, knocking a quarter off someone's ear with the yoyo....


He slowly approached the ear, getting closer and closer each time and eventually knocked the coin off.
Says Dale: "If you are brave enough for this, you get to keep the quarter"


 


Of course he can do tricks with 2 yoyos at the same time...just in case you were wondering.
